National Assembly clerk slumps and dies while walking up the stairs

Muhammed Shuaibu, the clerk of the House Committee on Agricultural Production and Services reportedly slumped and died, while walking on a
staircase at the National Assembly complex, Abuja around 12 noon, Monday, March 13th. Shuaibu, 55, was immediately rushed to the National Assembly clinic where he was confirmed dead by the doctors.
Confirming the incident to Daily Trust, Chairman of the committee, Rep Mohammed Tahir Monguno said the clerk, who was deployed a year ago, returned to Abuja from Zaria on Sunday ahead of a meeting of the committee. It was gathered that he slumped shortly after complaining of discomfort.

His remains has been taken to Zaria, Kaduna State where he hailed from.
