The Nigeria Police Force, Zamfara state command has arrested the leader of a gang called “Sara-Suka”, as well as 20 members of the gang.
Spokesman, Muhammad Shehu said in a statement in Gusau yesterday that the gang had been terrorising the state capital and its environs.
The statement said the suspects were arrested by the operation team of the command on Wednesday in Yan-Mangwarora, Gusau during a raid of criminals’ hideouts.
It said dried leaves of Indian hemp, three bottles of shooter intoxicant and tramadol tablets were recovered from the suspects.
The statement, which said the suspects were assisting the police with information, added that the command was on the trail of other members of the gang.
